Who We Are
Hawksbill Management Accounting Services, LLC was formed to provide the services of a part-time Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to small and mid-size businesses, as well as to non-profit organizations on a fee basis. Hawksbill MAS is committed to serving start up and existing entrepreneurial firms in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.
Tom Fife, the principal of Hawksbill, spent many years working in financial operations management (FOM) in the private sector, and has considerable experience assisting non-profit organizations and their Board of Directors in keeping close tabs on cashflow, and making informed recommendations for cost savings, as well as smart business growth.
In the capacity of your (part-time) Chief Financial Officer, Hawksbill MAS, LLC will provide monthly or quarterly detailed financial reporting, costing analysis, cash flow analysis and projections, budget preparation, development or updating of business plans, and general management counseling for both profit and non-profit organizations.
Hawksbill MAS can also help you develop a business plan to gain funding, whether from a bank, the SBA, a venture capital firm, or private investors, and has experience in SEC filings and IPO situations – pre and post. Tom brings in relevant consulting talent, as needed, and has a vast network of related professionals in the tax, legal, marketing, IT and web arenas.
Hawksbill MAS is located in Harrisonburg, Virginia, and serves clients – across a wide range of industries - throughout the Shenandoah Valley.
